A Treatment For acne and pore purification

Photopneumatic Acne Treatment is a breakthrough treatment for mild to moderate acne and rosacea. It uses a revolutionary combination of photopneumatic energy that combines a vacuum and broad band light (BBL). The vacuum removes blockages in the pores, including blackheads, dirt, oil and dead cells, and the BBL destroys bacteria and shrinks oil glands. The result is skin that is purified from the inside out. It is a safe, painless, effective treatment with no downtime. All skin types can be treated with the pneumatic pore purification. The BBL may not be suited for very dark complexions.

How does it work?

The treatment tip gently pulls up the skin and draws out pore impurities. The BBL energy then destroys the bacteria and shrinks oil glands. Blackheads and debris deep in the pores are removed, resulting in clearer skin. Treatment takes about 10-20 minutes, depending on the size of the area treated.

Does the Photopneumatic Acne Treatment hurt?

No, there is no associated pain. Most patients find the treatments relaxing.

How will I look right after the Photopneumatic Acne Treatment?

There may be some pinkness for a few minutes after treatment but skin feels much smoother. Normal activities can be resumed immediately. There is no light sensitivity afterwards, but sun protection should be used and tanning should be avoided. If there is a history of cold sores (herpes simplex) in the treated area, antiviral medication should be taken.

What are the results?

Within 24-48 hours, there is reduced redness, decreased pore size, flattening of blemishes, decreased oil production and a decrease in severity of breakouts.

Usually 6 treatments are necessary, but single treatments can be done for oiliness, breakouts, maintenance therapy, or to complement other treatments, such as facials, peels or photodynamic therapy.

What Are The Advantages of Photopneumatic Acne Treatment?

The pneumatic vacuum can be used alone or together with the BBL to reduce pore size and improve skin tone and texture for a healthier-looking complexion. Prescription acne medications can still be used and Photopneumatic Acne Treatment enhances the penetration of acne creams.
