What improvements
will I see? Microdermabrasion will result
in smoother, brighter skin, with a reduction in
brown pigmentation, age spots, fine lines, mild
acne scars, and refined pores. It can help improve
the clogged pores of mild acne. It stimulates the
growth of new collagen so skin appears thicker and
firmer.
What areas
can be treated? Areas that are usually
treated include the face, neck, chest, shoulders,
back, arms and hands.
How long does
each treatment take? The treatment takes
20 to 40 minutes, depending on which areas are being
treated.
How many treatments
will I need? A series of about 6 sessions,
1 to 2 weeks apart will be most beneficial.
Can I benefit
from just one treatment? Before a special
event, microdermabrasion may be done as a single
treatment to give instantly smooth, glowing skin.
Since it is milder than a light chemical peel, there
is no recovery time and regular activities may be
