SilkPeel™ Dermalinfusion™
What is the SilkPeel Dermalinfusion procedure?
It is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation system that combines exfoliation with diamond tip microdermabrasion and the delivery of skin specific topical solutions under pressure.
How does it differ from traditional microdermabrasion?
Its uniquely formulated solutions improve hydration, dullness, acne and pigmentation, according to patients’ specific needs. Immediate exposure of the exfoliated skin to the solutions optimizes results.
What skin conditions benefit from SilkPeel Dermalinfusion?
- dry, rough skin
- hyperpigmentation
- fine lines
- mild acne and scarring
- enlarged pores
How long does a treatment take?
It takes about 20-30 minutes and is not associated with any discomfort, but you may experience a mild tingling for a few hours.
What is the appearance of the skin after treatment?
Skin is immediately smooth, fresh and luminous.
What is the recommended frequency of treatments?
SilkPeel Dermalinfusion may be done as a treatment on its own in a single session or as a series of treatments, usually 5 sessions, 10 to 14 days apart.
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime and regular activities may be resumed immediately after the treatment. Sun protection is always recommended. If there is a history of cold sores, antiviral medication should be taken.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
It may be used together with other procedures such as facials, IPL photorejuvenation and Fraxel or CO2 lasers to enhance these treatments. Maintenance treatment with skin specific products at home is recommended.
