Fractional Radio Frequency Microneedling FRM
FRM stimulates natural collagen to improve texture, tone, lines, crêpiness, skin laxity, acne scars, and stretch marks, resulting in a more youthful appearance. Microneedling also increases the delivery of active ingredients, such as PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and specific skincare ingredients. Since the skin surface is not affected, tanned skin and dark complexions can be treated, but sun protection must be used.

How does it work?
Multiple micro-needles penetrate the skin and release radio frequency in the deep dermis. A numbing cream is applied beforehand for comfort. You will feel some mild pressure and prickling on the skin. Treatment time is about 30 minutes. The micro-needling produces new collagen and the RF tightens the skin.
What areas can be treated?
Treatments are customized for every individual. Any area can be treated: face, neck, chest, arms, thighs, abdomen, back.
How many treatments?
The number of sessions depends on the patient's goals and the condition being treated. Typically 3 to 5 treatments, about 4 weeks apart, may be required to show significant results.

Who can have treatment?
FRM can be performed as soon as an individual notices early signs of aging or is concerned with acne scars. There is little risk of hyperpigmentation or darkening of the skin, so all skin types can be treated.
Who should not have treatment?
Individuals who are pregnant, have implanted devices such as a pacemaker, or form keloids should not have treatment.
How will I look after the treatment?
Mild redness and puffiness occur immediately after the treatment and subside in 1 to 2 days. Normal activities can then be resumed. Tiny pinpoint bruises may last for a few days. Skin then feels rough for about 7 days and dry skin may flake off. Gentle cleansers, moisturizers and make-up can be worn. Sun protection is strongly advised. If there is a history of cold sores (herpes simplex), an antiviral medication is started before treatment and taken for 3 days after the treatment.
When will I see results?
Initial results are seen within 2 weeks but the full benefit of FRM is noticed 6 to 8 weeks after treatment as new collagen continues to be produced.
Can FRM be combined with other procedures?
Certainly! It complements radio frequency skin tightening, PRP, IPL, laser skin enhancement, peels, microdermabrasion, and facials. It can be used as a maintenance treatment.
